Wishes Poem by David Harris

Wishes

Rating: 5.0

When you see a falling star,
do you ever make a wish?
When you blow out all the candles
on your birthday cake,
do you ever make a wish?
When you throw a coin
into a wishing well,
do you make a wish?

If you make a wish
on these occasions,
the question I want to know.
Of all those wishes that you made,
did at least one of those wishes
ever come true for you?

Trouble is David, I can never remember what I wished for and where I wished for it. Ha! Ha! I must seek out a falling star, come candles and a wishing well and then wrtie down on paper the wish for the right one so I can recall if one comes true. Sweet idea and write. Love and hugs Ernestine xxx
