Word Void Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Word Void

Rating: 5.0

Word Void

word feud, word feud
though you are so cute
not a minute or second do I spend in a feud

I'd rather walk along the Mediterranean
breathe the fresh air
synchromesh
and feel right at home

word feud, word feud
though you are so cute
I'd rather play the flute
or be silently dumb

word feud word feud
I'd rather love the silence to listen to God's Word!

Loved the recurring lines too. They add beauty to this wonderful, wonderful poem. And the ultimate stanza is amazing. So apt and brilliant. Yes, God's words are the best.

A brilliant and meaningful poem crafted with wit. Loved the play of words that give more emphasis on the avoidance of feud.
