On this day of books we celebrate
The stories that inspire and captivate

That transports us to another age

With every turn of a book's page
We embark on a new adventure stage
We meet new friends, we learn new things
And experience the joy that reading brings

A book can take us to distant lands
Or help us understand life's demands
It can teach us empathy and grace
And put a smile on our face

So let us honor the book today
And all the tales that come our way
For on this day we celebrate
The magic of books that we can't replicate
