In The Age Of Propaganda
Through realms of politics, a specter looms,
New propaganda, fueled by communal fumes.
With crafty words, they sow seeds of disdain,
Dividing people, igniting a fiery chain.
A poison spreads, fueled by power's greed,
As hatred festers, unity recedes.
Yet, let not this darkness engulf our hearts,
For truth shall prevail, dispelling false arts.
Together we stand, against this divide,
With love and empathy as our guiding tide.
In unity we rise, unshaken, unbowed,
For a united people shall make injustice cowed.
O fellow citizens, let not division win,
Seek common ground, let tolerance begin.
Resist the rhetoric that tears us apart,
Embrace compassion, reignite the heart.
For in unity lies our strength and grace,
Together, we'll transcend this divisive space.
Amazing write, but l liked your last stanza, the poem is superb I may revisit it.
Profound poem, media cell is very active and helping this propaganda machinery to spread hatred and venom everywhere. The social fabric is being destroyed by the nails of hatred.
As hatred festers, unity recedes.....If this is the scenario, how can we expect unity in diversity? How can we think of peaceful co-existence? How can we think of harmony? How can we think of a paradise? Appreciated this brilliant poem. Top score!
