I agree so much with the point you are making - except, please do not fall into the trap of condeming people by general labeling. I think it is true to say that the majority of Westerners do not actually condemn the wearing of scarves. Also, many Westerners are Muslims. By the same token, many Muslims do not condemn the wearing of trousers. In no way am I saying that you are being racist, but, this general attaching of perceived traits is how racism and discrimination starts.......
