You And I Shall Be Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

You And I Shall Be

Rating: 3.0

I thought my love for you was opened as a reject,
though now in reality it is a true positive affect.

You told me
that you have a lot going on in your life right now,
there was even a time
you told me you
wanted to give up and throw in the towel....but you didn't.

Right now you just can't say how long,
I know you'll get thru this
because you are a driven man who is strong.

No matter what you say now,
I will still be standing there waiting at the finish line,
whether you win or loose
I will be standing there with arms wide open to
claim you as my prize for I feel it in this lonely heart of mine,
it is not an omen, it is a God given sign.

You and I were meant to be,
it is plain to see,
that we make each other happy,
yet it is your destiny to love me.

I love you Michael Nise
more than my words can ever say to convey.
