You Are My Friend Poem by Randy McClave

You Are My Friend

Rating: 5.0

If a friend needs a dollar
Just give me a holler,
If they need to pay their rent
It will be sent.
If they need new clothes
Asking me you won't impose,
We will both go to the store
This I will implore.
If you need the use of a car
I will happily drive you near or far,
Wherever you need or want to go
It will be so.
If you need a place to rest your head
I have an extra bed,
If with someone you need to talk
I won't ever balk.
If you ever need a helping hand
You need not ever to demand,
If others say, "No! "
I will always shout, "Go! ".
If you need to pay your bills
Or if you need meals,
A message is all you need to send
Because, you are my friend.
