You Are Poetry Poem by ENRIQUE ALBERTO HURTADO MINOTTA

You Are Poetry

Rating: 5.0

There is poetry in your eyes every time you look at me,
and in your lips, the poems of Neruda are materialized.
They are your eyes... two poems of celestial beauty...
with the infinite depth of the sea in their awakening.

There is poetry in your lips every time you kiss me,
and in your mouth, the soft breath of your soul is revealed.
Sweet lips are your's, impregnated with the honeys of love.
Moist and tender lips, a permanent invitation to kiss.!

There is poetry in your body every time you walk!
You are perfect harmony walking down the street.
With each step you give, your shade writes a poem.
A Goddess's body is yours...
work, perfect of God, in the still of the afternoon!

There is poetry in your mouth every time you smile at me.
And in your lips the smile is drawn of the, 'I love you! '
While you exist; your smile, you will exist... woman!
And while you exist, 'woman', will always be poetry!

Wow, you really are my kind of poet! You mentioned Neruda here - I could already tell you read his stuff from the other poems I've read of yours. He is my favourite, my inspiration. You write in the same way he does, the same imagery, the same passion. I hope to see more of your poems soon.
