You're Special To Me - Poem by Michael P. McParland
You're special to me in every way.
There isn't anything I wouldn't do
just for you.
To make you happy or keep you safe
including give up my life.
To dry your tears and takeaway all your fears,
to heal all your hurts both physical
and those that bleed deep inside.
You're so special to me I want you to see.
You're special to me because I
truly see all of your beauty.
Your love and your care with so
much deep love to give.
A true Angel to me my sweet lady so fair,
with beautiful eyes and a smile that shines.
You awaken true deep desire of love
and I feel sweet passions burn.
You're special to me in every way that you see,
and in so many ways only spirits can feel.
With a connection seems old as time
we weren't looking for love but found each other.
You are my best friend and true soul lover,
you are special to me because I feel your spirit,
I feel its strength and its caring
and right now its deep down hurting.
You're special to me and I want to heal it.
You are my everything and I truly mean it.
You are special to me in ways I can't describe,
earth does not have the words descriptions I need,
only actions can work and I want to give you
the most selfless acts of true love anyone can.
Show you that you're the most important
person in heave or on earth.
I will prove it to you my special one.
You're special my dear because you're great I know,
you are a wonderful woman I admire and adore,
I just want you to be you
because I feel in love long ago with my special one.
Just know that you're special and so truly loved,
I'll be there right beside you through all space and time.
