You'Re What Matters Poem by Tiffany Wolf

You'Re What Matters

Rating: 5.0

We live so far apart,
I hope I can still get to your heart.
You have gotten to mine, there's no going back,
Love is no longer something I lack.
You were there for me when I needed some cheer,
Your words made me feel as if you were more near.
One day we will meet for real,
In person, no longer concealed.
You've changed my life for all the better,
Using your words, poems, and your letters.
You showed you cared and wanted me too,
There's nowhere I'd rather be than with you.
To feel your embrace and for our lips to slightly brush,
My cheeks turning red just from feeling your touch.
I want to be held by you and then no one will matter,
All over these four walls, our feelings will splatter.
I wish to see your perfect face,
But not yet..... Simply another time, another place.

Though the rhymes are not as good here, the poem is better. This is because the writing is better. It is more mature and thoughtful. Sort of like the ending of the other poem. I recommend this, most certainly! GW62

A very nice outpouring of the heart. You could practice a bit of restraint because a little bit more would make it mushy. Good write.
