You Say, - Poem by Reshma Ramesh

God! make my embrace as warm as you wish reshma!

You say,
'Make my embrace as warm as u wish'
I hold you close and give you a kiss
You say,
'Make my kiss as hot as you wish'
I kiss you deep, and make you feverish
You say,
'Make my love as deep as you wish'
I take you in and it is pure bliss
You say,
'Make my life as complete as you wish'
I give you joy and wipe away your anguish
You say,
'Make my soul as free as you wish'
I give you my love, true and lavish

Essence of a poem is the soul
Rhymes and meters makes it whole
Theme of a poem is the sentiment
Assonance and dissonance is the advent

    Well written

    Like waves in full moon
    Your love overflows
    Into my embrace
    Like a drunken night
    And the early hangover
    When you recede
    From my arms
    On your knees
    To fall back
    For the shores
    Of my embrace
    Are unending

A neat love poem with good rhyming. The addressee is the most fortunate. (Report)Reply
