You Will Always Be Poem by Rani Turton

You Will Always Be

Rating: 5.0

You will always be for me
Academically
More than a memory
More than eventuality
An essentiality.

There were mirages and dreams.
There were illusions and beliefs
Believing that brought grieving
And the light that became night

All that, a part of living.

Sunrise, moonrise, starrise
Everyday, to my surprise
The unabated beauty of this world
And the world was the word

You will always be for me
Academically, an essentiality.
