** YOUR FACE
I had loved your face during those hours
of Spring,
Which bloomed like the blossoms the
season brings;
In the prime of life with its youthful
glow!
I loved your face at Summer’s time,
With the birds flapping their wings up
high;
Blooming like the rose at dawn, -
With its many hidden thorns!
And now with Autumn’s maturing
freckles,
With receding forests and rusty shades;
Like a ripened apple to the core, -
I have grown to love your face even more!
And with the Winter’s approaching frost,
My love shall not diminish at any cost;
For I still remain enchanted by that face
of Spring, -
True love is never forgotten or lost!

That love is permanent is very evident from this. A good write.
