Transfixed...
by the hypnotic laser
of your gaze,
no longer aware
of time, or space:
I melt...
in the fluidity of my being;
intricate emotions flow
in cascades
of continuity...
I go back into the womb...
I know nothing,
and feel everything;
your gaze turns, —then
time returns,
and hits me hard—
back to reality!
I am solid again—
heavy as a stone:
grounded, rational,
awkwardly rebalancing
the terrestrial gravitation.
Outstanding poem. Your last stanza took it to a different level.10++++ I am solid again — heavy as a stone: grounded, rational, awkwardly rebalancing the terrestrial gravitation.
.... and feel everything! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Sometimes a gaze can be so powerful that it will grab one into its gravitational pull and one may feel levitating! Beautiful poem! A 10
