On a beautiful, crisp, crystal clear morn,
Jesus Christ, our living Savior was born.
To save the world from sin and strife,
He would later willingly give up his life.
For all who would repent and then believe,
Eternal life, his gift, they would receive.
The shepherds were frightened at the glorious sight,
Of the angels that appeared in the sky that night.
And left their owners with their flocks of sheep,
To go to the stable to bow at the Christ child's feet.
