Lovesick
I still house that virus (you) in me
that has slowed me down on daydreams
...
There will be some rain
On arid lands
Of minds and hearts...
A little more splendor
...
these watery days
have been the most rapid
and meaningful days
man can ever say...
...
And then a frog sang before the bog in that late afternoon.
All of a sudden, its first loud song struck my ear, deaf for nature
that day in particular.

Have become
Kind of addicted
To your caress
Cased in words
& attractive poems
Type of a good
Catching ill
- You -
Lodged in my core
& inner body home
With a view to be cured

Very impressive poetry by a talented young professor on the other side of the globe.Still interesting was to note the portugese recipes and dinner served on plate.I missed the treat.Keep writing and sharing the knowledge.
While you can never rush a poet, Silvia's poetry is something I look forward to with much anticipation. I savor the thought of hearing more from this sensitive voice.
Silvia is very kind person, And everyone on Poem Hunter should get to know her and her writings..
Silvia is a nature poet with a very fine tunning on her work.
