All Hollow's Eve
Dark night, sparkling stars, and shining moon.
There’s something in the air on that one special night.
Laughing children, running in costumes,
There’s a sense of the supernatural in the quiet moonlight.
Through an old rusted fence is the abandoned house.
Is it really haunted? That’s what everyone says.
The rotted old door, the rusted knocker,
The tarnished brass plate that reads “Family of Galvez”.
A boy comes up, drawn by the light in the attic,
dragging stained, torn cloth with every pace.
He comes up to the decrepit entryway.
