A Romantics Love
Across from me in sweet candle light
Someone warm and kind whom I find divine.
As the flame dances I look into her eyes
again I see what she doesn’t realize
I see calm and peace and warmth in those hazel eyes
but this she will never realize.
I see what she cannot, I see what is and what will be.
Dream of what could be.
The fairest skin, the corners of her lips when she smiles, in an instant the warmth of her gaze enough to make the devils flame envious, touches, caresses, embraces my soul.
Her touch, I will never know.
