As you try to avoid a nagging fear.
Pretending that a threat felt,

Challenges continue to be faced.
For one experiencing life.
Knowing those expectations,
With multiple choices to make...

What is it that makes,
Hearts to break.
With pains that ache.
To heal as if assisting,
...

Many need their heros,
To remain depicted...
Brave and not a hint of age.
With them kept fresh.
...

Those treasured lessons kept,
To remember as having effect...
Are often not the ones accepted,
When they are first taught.
...

Desires kept wanted,
With them wished into existence...
Are seldom craved one moment,
To have them hours later...

I can not say,
I have an ability...
To turn my emotions off.
Then on to turn back off again.
