शीशे के दिलवाले लोग
शीशे के दिलवाले लोग
दन दना दन....दे दना दन
कातिलों की गोलियाँ चलती रहीं
शिकार हुये लोगों में थे अधिकांश
शीशे के दिलवाले लोग
निर्दोषों का खून बहाया है जिसने
देखते रहना, वो भी हरगिज़ नही बचेंगे
भून डालेंगी उन्हीं की
गोलियाँ इक दिन उन्हें.
Yesterday I was reading a book called 'ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫ਼ਾਰਸੀ ਬੋਧ' written by Professor Pyar Singh I read a couplet from Omar Khayyam there quoted in the book, enriched the philosophy of Epicurus(page nu.28, the very book) . It reads: khush bāsh, nâ dáni z kuja āmdé ai Mai nūsh, nâ dáni keh kuja khāhī raft. Be happy, you do not know wherefrom you came Drink wine(love) you do not know where will ye go. So why this hatred! !
I sincerely appreciate this feedback that provides a great value addition here. Great poets of the past have in their poetry a universal appeal and timeless message. Thanks, Jagdish ji.
भगवान ने बुद्धी दी है पर ऐसे लोग इसे सद् बुद्धी में तब्दील नही कर पाते। आशा है आने वाले समय में कुछ अच्छा हो! मार्मिक चित्रण।
