2 - Detest Poem by Linda I. Weischedel

2 - Detest

Rating: 4.0

I didn't ask for you to have eyes in the back
of your head,
I only asked for you to listen to the words that
I have said.

I've been giving you soild facts for so long,
by changing and twisting my honest words around you made
me out to be in the wrong,
but through your snobbish ways I never truly felt like I did belong.

If you think about it you came along and you were new,
making this proclamation of all the new changes you were going to do,
the one big mistake was allowing me to walk away,
I have always been the one who was true,
as of now a huge part of my happiness is through,
saying no more I shall never forget the way I will be
loathing-on the both of you!
