(928) A Naked Man Poem by Melvina Germain

(928) A Naked Man

Rating: 5.0

Do you see the beauty in God’s work of art?
I’ll start at the top of the head.
You start at the bottom of the feet.
Somewhere in the middle we shall meet.

I know this may seem vulgar to delicate eyes.
Think of the beauty, you may be surprised.
An erect pole, smoothly crafted,
waiting for direction when drafted.

A naughty little laughter may appear.
You must look closer if you dare.
As we view the family jewels
We seem to have activated a fuse.

Oh dear, what have we here? ? ? ? ?

As Whitman said, 'I sing the body electric'. There is nothing quite so beautiful as the human body, female and male, and I see nothing wrong with a little appreciation. After all, we are made in the image of God! I enjoyed your poem, Melvina.
