Lost in the vortex of my thoughts
Seeking a vision that got lost
Fire consumed or a lost monsoon
Parched earth awaiting a boon
A solitary traveller in an undulating desert
that got lost....
Come show me the way
In your light, everything is clear
And its a sunny day
In your absence, its all dark and queer
All thoughts gone astray
Come show me the way
In your sound, everything is music to the ears
To which I dance and sway
In your absence, cacophony blares
All notes dark and gray
Come show me the way
In your touch, everything is pure
With a bright spark and a ray
In your absence, cannot endure
Even my own skin, t'is like clay
My Response: Come, Show Me The Way … I am the mislaid stranger, being whirled in your thoughts; Struggling with a sharp twinge and the face I never lost! I had lot of fire in my mind and some floods of anguish; Burning under the scorching sun, like the desert sands! Yes, I am the lost stranger, struggling and burning this life! How can I show you the route towards your enlightenment? My light is so hazed, it is neither fair nor bright – you realize! My thoughts had swelled up the existence of my forlorn self; I have many blood blisters, those spread in years of distress! Yes, I am the gloom moonless night, have nothing but darkness! I have no lyrics that could sing the praise of a beautiful life. How can I sing for you those melodious notes, I lost in vain? I confess my downer now, as my music only shower shingles; That, my vocals are oppressed and I have lost my channel! Yes, I am a hapless performer and I sing some lament and dirge! How can I choose to show you the path, a lost stranger I am? I have this doomed touch and everything just gets appalling! That I have had lost my ember and light of that life of hopes; I had persisted to exist in your absence, but now I just fail!
throbing pain of lonliness...the waiting...the feeling of nothingness with out the loved one...these are very deep strong emotions well expressed in your poem...love...nalini
So beautiful, the longing the tones of needing strength. You shine T.O.!
