An ambrosial blue
awakens its eyes
petal by petal
blossoming into bursts
of pinkish hue
releasing an ocean
of rose petals
parachuting down
like rivulets of dreams
awashed in the dawn
of mellifluous stirrings
perspiring into a river of passion.
The colors got my attention first....then my eyes....then my ears....and then my mind...and then the whole of me.....thanks

Another very strong poem. Ben, you really have a way with words. The imagery so visual, the colors so tangible, I see the day opening like a flower. brilliant!
