A Burst Of Color Poem by Ben Gieske

A Burst Of Color

Rating: 3.4

An ambrosial blue
awakens its eyes
petal by petal

blossoming into bursts
of pinkish hue
releasing an ocean

of rose petals
parachuting down
like rivulets of dreams

awashed in the dawn
of mellifluous stirrings
perspiring into a river of passion.

Another very strong poem. Ben, you really have a way with words. The imagery so visual, the colors so tangible, I see the day opening like a flower. brilliant!
