My folly kept pricking
Too prolonged my heart
Awaiting His presence
Those interim days
Kept haunting me guilty
And punishment sometimes
Means silence from the other
So too from my baby God
I kept calling Him until
He came at last on a belated visit
with His usual cry'Graaann'
My soul felt filled
'How are you gran'He asked
'I missed you thoroughly
Are you angry with me'I asked
'No, no' He said. Ah, felt relieved
'So..'He added.But in fear that
He might vanish as usual
I disrupted quickly to say
'Krishna, I have a request'
'Yes gran, go on' He said
'I'm old enough and
You know my time well
I will not say 'will you be'
But say 'I want'
You be with me
Till I breathe last
And always after that too
Drown me in your bliss
In your Vyjayanti, your Bansuri too
Please don't leave me alone'
Krishna thought a while
'You see graaan...'He dragged
His witty eyes said it all
'Yashodama will be waiting for me
I will tell her and
At once will return'
He said and gone..
And me..
Broken..
The very nature of humans nicely exposed in your above poem, we all are basically very possessive, even a thought of parting away disturbs us and through this conversation you did exploit that basic/ inherent weakness in all humans. Loved it... Amusing Indira ji.100+++
Drown me in your bliss In your Vyjayanti, your Bansuri too Please don't leave me alone' A true seeker of God! Surely, The flute player will come back to protect and to bless.......10
Lord Krishna has his time! Though he didn't oblige to your request to stay with you ever after, he promised that he would come again to heed to your request! You should patiently wait for him. There is a special warmth in this informal relationship between the granny and the little Krishna!
'Yashodama will be waiting for me I will tell her and at once will return'.....so lovely so pious is the poetic expression! I recollect a glimpse of childhood of lord Krishna! A beautiful poem dear madam..........10

I would like to translate this poem
The true love among Granny and little Krishna has been so deeply and impressively inscribed. This is a beautiful devotional poem with love amazingly shared.
