A Deep Pain. Poem by Jaishree Nair

A Deep Pain.

Rating: 5.0

A prick somewhere...
Wounding and flushing out..
Tears of blood flooding
and drowning the bliss of friendship.

Proud I had been of my
work space relations
Never realised deeds of nonchalant
uncaring attitude could be so hurting.

Flaunting their powers they were
Unbending and hard hearted..
A subtle change in their attitude..
Like a chameleon changing
to adapt to situations

They could not understand
the pain behind my smile
The reason behind my silence
Trifle though it may seem,

Heart heavy and ailing,
searching for a place
to place my burden
too heavy to carry in my frail body.

Searching...... Searching.......and Searching!

What else is the life, just a search. Heart heavy and ailing, searching for a place to place my burden too heavy to carry in my frail body. Searching...... Searching.......and Searching!

Deep insight is well observed with expressive emotion really. Amazingly drafted and shared.

So true.. people are like chameleon, we don't know when they are going to change their colours... and for that the searching goes on... for the right person or right place where we can find peace of mind and put our burden down. wonderful creation. thank you.
