A Deep, Sincere Desire
I want to take
Words and Feelings,
And with them
Reach out far,
Very far,
Into Life's
Perpetual Fire,
Move the edifice,
Of thoughts and heart
With good solid
Building blocks,
Make mental rocks
Heed to reason,
Kind, in every season,
Not blind,
With lust's desire
Plant love,
See it grow
Keep it holy,
Greatly felt
Sacred Star,
Banning all that hurts
As hate and treason
Make hearts grow,
To reach each other
Poetic brothers,
Never spread
Poisonous malice,
Harm or shock
Help all others
Rejoin, the human
Flock,
All this,
I want to do
With a poem
For it's,
The only
Loving, tool,
That as a poet fool
I have to get thru.
A very touching, powerful, insightful and wonderful poem imbued with wisdom. It is my deep and sincere desire too and I think majority if not all could relate to your feelings. Our heart bleeds when we see Poets. maligned. We must sow seeds of love on this site instead of hate and bitterness. We.must use our Poet's pen in the furtherance of friendship and camaraderie.
