A Different Kind Of Passion Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Different Kind Of Passion

Rating: 5.0

Alone,
I shall cradle you
As mothers do,
With love for child
Divinely tied,
Lovingly with pride,
And you,
Also holding
On to me,
Protecting me,
With a love,
That's so sublime,
It has no end,
Limitless, in Time
As love should be
My dearest, darling
Poetry,
My life's passion
And necessity.

You are in love with poetry, and have every right to be! What would life be without poetry?

Cannot enjoy life without writing or reading the writings of others. The thought of not being able to do so would make life a tasteless drudgery- - great poem and well thought out.10++++++
