A Good Heart Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Good Heart

Rating: 3.2

How many good hearts are there?
Do my fingers count too many?
Do we think we can find any?
Blindly groping in the dark,
Who can we really trust?

Really disheartening but it is the presence of really good hearts that keeps the world going. Let us be optimistic in our pursuit of a better life. Thanks, Sandra.

Good Hearts - DO MY FINGERS COUNT TOO MANY? Oh no! Assemble all of your friends and relatives into one big room, with flower decorations, tables of fruit, wine and fruit juice, a string quartet playing Mozart, ask them to raise both hands and wiggle their fingers. Then have the children count the number of fingers. Multiple that figure by 365 to symbolize time, and announce the results. Then let the dancing begin! Continue dancing outside (It will be a beautiful night,) and pull others into the dance. Dance till dawn. You see, no groping in the dark and good people everywhere in sight!

Some good hearts are very obvious to see, but others exist and can't be found by apathy

As the song says, 'A good heart is hard to find' we just have to keep on looking.
