I could not remain frozen on the hills
When the naughty sun kissed and touched me
I started melting in the sun's hot arms
I became ecstatic when the valley hugged me
I could not resist the nature's calls
I fell in love where snow falls.
I ran to the plain to wash the frozen black blood.
With all the human dirt of hate and violence
Drinking new poisons throughout my journey
How long I could show patience and tolerance
I now dive in the sea to commit suicide
My valentine has been killed in a mass homicide!
A beautiful poem. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you sir.
A river and its pathos.....deep in meaning....thank you Akhtarji
Valentine exists only through love. If there is hatred and violence, then the Valentine disappears. The holy river flows only through pure love. This poem is a lesson to all those who indulge in dreadful acts of violence and hatred. Thank you Akhtar Sahab for this poem. 10+
