Oh to fly away were the fairies be
Were the flowers bloom and the forest tis forever green
Where beauty is all ye see
And in the day they crown the May Queen
To dance a jig
Hear the musical sounds
To taste the sweetness, ah just a swig
To fall upon the emerald grounds
Ah tis the land of me heritage that I be dreaming
Where rowan trees protect the wee
Leprechauns are seen a scheming
Just a day or three shall be me dyin’ plea
To kiss the Blarney
And listen to some too
To foot me way here and there and even to Killarney
I... just for a sweet kiss from my hearts woo...
A true irish lass with music in her heart and words. I am proud to be irish and enjoy singing irish music. Ireland is a wonderous place and it was great to read this beautiful poem written about my favorite place!
Well, if you want me to fall in love with you, you have succeeded. An Irish lass , no less. Forget the Blarney, I'll kiss you as long as you speak poems too. With green my color , and whatever your eyes. Please keep on believing and I'll tell no lies. For you are a maiden from long long ago. You must be the one lass that I'll never know. But whoever you are keep writing like this for each time I read you it's nothing but bliss.
What a wonderous place to be some of the warmest hearts in the world and some of the greatest storytellers to, not that you would believe everyone! 10 great write Chris
