A Light Of Hope - Poem by Colleen Delaney

A light of hope,
in this dark world,
so rare.

too many statistics,
showing inability to survive.

why keep pushing?
striving to make it.

creating constant confusion,
hard decisions,
throughout life.

What choice to make?
which is right?
how to decide?

Through all of this,
a caring love,
always there.

Through life,
someone stays by your side,
your light of hope.

Everyone has one,
someone to keep them alive,
your reason for living.

Finding this hero,
the one who loves,
takes time,
once found,
everything fits.

Others thoughts,
matter less,
helping to carry you through,
all the tough times.

Your hero alone,
keeps you going,
their love and courage,
is all you need.

you are able,
to go through anything,
and everything.
