Enchanting days of bliss are
the one commodity that still lingers
within my shadow wherever I go
Recapturing moments of yesterday
and listening to the waves hit as we
sat on the edge of shore banks feeding
the seagulls, walking silently hand and hand
till the sun had set, with only a few spoken words
Silently you kissed me that night
your tears told me what I had dreaded
to hear, your lips were not filled with
pasion, but with empitness and I knew
tommorrows had to cease
Into the fall of that year, our love lingered
and drifted to the point where there was
no return, difficult as it was, as bitter/sweetly
as we kissed good by and the tears on both
of us for reasons only we could explain, we
knew our seasons had ended that year, but
excepting them was a new chapter of love........

How beautifully romantic this is. You have written it with such compassion and empathy, enfolding a love story that starts with a title and ends with it as well. Very well encapsulated Bonnie. Karin Anderson
