A New Meaning Poem by Nikunj Sharma

A New Meaning

Rating: 4.7

What a poem should be?
Hand picked words, precisely lined up
As if in an act of peace
To reflect, introspectively

And to discover a new meaning.

Passions conceive the poem
On the bed filled with verbiage
Enchant the fibres of heart
Melodious to the ears; where it

Stimulates the senses
Hedonistic with in itself, each line
Oscillates beyond the obvious;
Undoes the woeful knots
Liberates the jaded mind
Dances on its musical measure

Braces up for a new pair of eyes
Eager to allow another's mind to listen.

An acorstic, What - a - poem - should - be.

you have well explored why we write and what it does to the psyche, for the poet who composes it- gives release and a new meaning one is at times astonished to discover. Mamta
