A No Moon Day Poem by Indira Renganathan

A No Moon Day

Rating: 5.0

Moon
Fell into the pond..
Lily laughed for fun
But moon got shaken
As the wind too
Spread laughing waves

Sudden
He dived into the pond
Lily feared
He got back
With the lily in his hand

Moon
Shattered and shrivelled..
Clouds consoled
Not to grieve
Veiling him concealed

At the bank
He felt of his
A proud moment
Picking the lily

But as the lily
Began to stoop
Feeling sad for the
Moon in hide

She
Got wild with him
Gave back the lily
Went away

Lily
Dead on the ground laid
A no moon day
All it ended

Very much interesting. Lily laughed innocently. Moon shouldn't have been that cruel. Nice story poem
