A Recycled Sonnet
An envious glance down the memory lane
A quiet perusal of the mind's domain
Another visit to your facebooked profile
To meet you dear one once in a while...
A friend so sweet and lovely, smart and sound
A princess in waiting yet to be crowned
A sweet voice that mesmerises the world
A pious soul beloved to the good Lord
A gem that once in tears nearly drowned
To rise like a phoenix heaven-bound...
O princess taking wings to evolve
Hats off to your steely will and resolve
I pray that all your cherished dreams come true
This friend, dear one, will always stand by you.
A beautiful way of promising to standby a friend, the reader is forced to become a friend in deed, starts thinking and exploring his content heart, what he should ask for and what's his real need.
Tenderly beautiful poem letting your friend know you'll stand by them through everything! It seems as if you're talking to every poet as your friend as there's no definite person mentioned, it seems to encompass everyone. And yet, such memories must be attuned to someone in your own life that you care very much for. Lovely poem, it quietly touches the heart sublimely in it's beauty. 10++++++++ Thank you for sharing.
