A Sweet Morning With You - Poem by Michael P. McParland

A very sweet good morning to you
my beautiful sweet Angel dove
and as I now rise I send you sweet kisses
of pure and true love with endless warmth.
I love you so much my sweet Kira
my hero, my soul mate, and my best friend so great,
a beautiful good morning to you
sweet lady for whom my heart melts.

As I now rise my first order of business
is a wonderful cleansing and refreshing shower.
I wish you were here just to stand with me
under the water holding each other and kissing
just feeling comfort as we held each other.
That's all I want and need is personal time
with my sweet gorgeous lady smiling and kissing
as we stood under the flow of warm water
holding each other and taking comfort in snuggling.

Then from there my sweet love I would
give you my robe to wrap up in
and I would grab my fuzzy orange blanket for
us to wrap up in while you had your coffee
and I had my Pepsi,
from there my sweet love we would decide
all the wonderful things we'll do together.
I so love you my darling and will write
that poem for you after I have stepped out
of the shower with the sleep cleared from my mind
and a cleansing feeling in full.
I love you my darling and feel all of the deep
caring love and warmth I am sending
and know that your Michael is there with you
holding you tightly and loves you so deep and immensely.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Good morning my sweet beautiful Kira. My first order of business is this needed shower. I do wish you could just be in my arms as we held each other and shared some sweet kisses. I love you my darling and will write you after I have gotten out. Again I love you sweet lady and miss you so badly. ILYF
