A Tiresome Duo Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Tiresome Duo

Which is worse for the brain,
For the nerves, for the heart?
Reading a poem, that tears you apart,
Or listening to a political speech,
That alternates rage, with a desire to teach
These lying politicians that all is not,
With in their slimy reach.

Dear Sandra, as honesty forces me to tell you that I dislike liars, especially politicians. This is truly worst for all of us. Captivating poem.

Timely and poetic and addressing how much our brains can handle.

I agree with Kelly. I'm so annoyed with the things a certain politician is spouting off about these days. I'd much rather read a sad poem then stare at that irritating pompadour. Nice pairing though Sandra! I would never have thought to put those two things together.

For me, the outrageous things said by politicians do more to raise my BP and push me to the brink of anger. I kind of enjoy being temporarily torn apart emotionally by poetry
