Advent Celebrations (3)

Advent is a four-week season of reflective preparation
for Christ's Birth at Christmas
and Christ's expected return in the Second Coming.

Each week of Advent focuses on a different theme -
week 1: Hope,
week 2: Peace,
week 3: Joy.

Here is a brief description of Week 1:
Hope - The first candle of the Advent wreath is lit on Sunday
3 December. It symbolizes Hope
and represents the prophets who foretold the coming of the Messiah.

Week 2:
Peace - The second candle is lit on Sunday
10 December. It symbolizes Peace and the Bethlehem Candle.

Week 3:
Third Advent Submitting
I hear now all angels sing
from afar till near my hearth
lit on Week 3 of Advent
it symbolizes the Greatest Joy

Third Advent is the hopeful Joy coming
be quiet then you can hear all the angels sing
look the Greatest Joy is arriving,
from high above till in your heart
