Aestival Languor (Haiku Series) Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Aestival Languor (Haiku Series)

Rating: 5.0

early sun-rays play
through rose curtains on the wall
meet me with delight

out in the garden
floral colours—myriads
scent the torrid air

dusk settles slowly
an orchestra of crickets
cradles me to sleep

I wrote the poem 'Elation Flowering Divine Daffodils Tulips' inspired by the poem 'Aestival Languor' by the poet Mihaela Pirjol and dedicated to the poet Mihaela Pirjol.

all the images a love spacing the day, 'Early sun-rays... Floral colours — myriads Scent the torrid air Dusk settles slowly' absolutely beautiful images which often also 'Cradles me to sleep'. loved this poem 10+ for me especially as daffodils and tulips are flowing in my newly planted garden, while the established flowers are now waking for Spring :)
