Girls still look at me
and though they smile...
Their eyes speak
A multitude of words.
Once offering me hearts
No longer I see
My age revealed
by the creases of time
I feel my insides
breaking into pieces.
The hope of the dream...
Vanishes in a cold sigh.

An absolute gem...very strong emotions evoked with your poem. It was hauntingly beautiful! A lovely read...Wow! Anna
'through their eyes speaks a multitude of words.' amazing. and most women do think like this. maybe because they dont realize that age is just a number, and so is time. but some people actually think about whats on thee inside; personality wise haha. this poem is amazing and will always stay with me.
Lovely poem, it takes a lot of knowledge and experience to write such a meaningful poem, full of sensations and very sincere
wow this poem is beautiful and yet again you can tell lots of emotion and effort was put in this... it mustve came straight from the heart cause thats where the best poems come from. Great job keep up the good work! !
Tremendous write. I honestly dont feel my age, its whats in the heart that matters! Enjoyed; D
I loved your poem, you earned a perfect 10 from a 56 year old woman.
but still enjoy the warmth of summer, the coolness of winter, the joy of spring, and the blessings of harvest! be inspired always... you write good...
