Spouse lying comatose,
Shadows under his closed eyes;
Rosary in hand...
very touching...painful...realistic and vivid.. done in these three lines a whole cahpter... cheers

This poem succeeds in creating the image in front of eyes; and reader is forced to think and re-think. It reminds me of saint kabir - dukh mein sumiran...... (mamta, plz read 'beads of rosary', time permitting.)
Sorry if I said anything wrong, somehow this poem reminds me a scene in FIRE...........Kulbhushan Karbanda does it, while his wife keeps looking at him................................helplessly..........
