I am a sun
Whats there to be proud of?
Wearing a golden light
Charms every heart.
Burns black anyone
Who tries to come near.
Why be troubled?
Why take it to your heart?
This is my work
Atleast, respect me for that.
Never been able to touch the earth
Keeps smiling from a distance.
Am aware – Dear Earth!
Will never be able to touch you
You are far away
From me, can not feel you.
Then what’s there to be
Proud of my existence?
Am a sun
Merely, a Sun!

It's good D, that the sun feels useless else we'd be Sun Fried Chickens'(SFC) a la KFC. But anyway thnx 4 amazing again with your perspective and thinking for the sun. Only a great poetess like you a la Sarojini Naidu can think and speak for the sun. What a lady you surely are a la my nani (grandmother) So this poem and session should be titled ÖOOh la la'. Keep smiling. Keep it up. Way to go.
From Sun's point of view His agony is not being able to touch the earth From Earth's point of view Without sun it cannot exist at all. There are many such occassions in life Humans enter into such syndrome. There can be resolution points Only When the emotions burst out. We all are here to uplift your morale Sun, you are the life of our life.
nice poem. you are right even the greatest can sometime be overcome with discontent.
dear sun, don't feel so bad. you're the sun and that's enough. And, you do indeed touch the earth with your smiles and warmth that fill our souls. i liked this a lot
both complement to each other. no life possible in absence of any well deserved point 10

I would like to translate this poem
you are a 'sun' and you must feel proud of it...for the hapless 'earth' revolves around you 24 hours a day 365 days a year attracted by your glamour! you may go that that near but never make the earth blackened! ! 10!
