America, Today. Poem by Sandra Feldman

America, Today.

Rating: 5.0

Muddy waters.
Dirty sand
Political pollution
Upper hand,
Devils' intrusion,
Rule this, morally,
Impoverished,
Land.

Oh America, America
Betrayed by your
Own children,
Planned!
Such ingratitude
Destructive
Thunders,
Thru a forsaken
And betrayed
Tearful,
Land.

Cont. America is the seat of democracy, the melting pot of people and the giver of dreams. Yet, as any nation had experienced, there are some of its ups and lows. It's how the people and the government will have to work together.

The best critic of a nation is its citizens and when someone lament on its misdeeds, those who are called to man the nation must do something about its condition and repair the damage done right to the core of the problem. I have always look up to America since a child...
