A distant dream,
Haunting me still;
With my heart conversing:
Time, —never reversing.
Harder to recall,
I, my memory implore
That I may feel again:
Passion, love and pain.
Maybe there's a motive,
Yet I cannot believe:
Amnesia—you and me! —
To save my sanity.
Maybe there is a motive! Once again with the muse of love. Nice work.
Amnesia is a gift that unburdens our memory and hence one should embrace it wholeheartedly. You have touched upon an interesting topic so poetically. Thanks for sharing this inquisitive write.
Original and stunning write as you wish to feel again the passion, love and pain but amnesia is there to save you from the hurt of your memories!
