I've lived in Amsterdam for quite a While
and I have found it has it's own Style
If you have an Umbrella
Your a real lucky Fella
It is not all Sex and Whips
There's also lots of 'Two-Lips'
Red, Blue, Yellow and Green
and things you've never Seen
You really have to watch your Way
Look left. Look right, or on the road you'll Lay
Bikes, Trams, Car's, and Busses
Over the price nobody Fusses
I suppose I will have to Tell
About Coffee shops and the dope they Sell
It's safe to sit and Smoke
Everyone has a good Joke
As I walk through the Red-Light
Oh it's a beautiful Sight
All the girls sit in the Windows
And plenty of Live Sex Shows
In the morning at the end of the Night
The Canals are shinning and it's quite Bright
I survived the night, I feel like a Man
That's the life in the city of Amsterdam
I odn't think the trolleys are overpriced. I've been there, in fact twice. I love the city at night. So many clubs, bars, and so much life, not only in the people but in the city itself. Also taken a stroll into the coffee-shops, mushroom bars and right on through the red light district. Not exactly safe for a girl, but it was a great adventure. The way you described the scene, it put right back on those narrow, cobbled streets. Thanks.
I haven't been to Amsterdam....but, now I have! I enjoy your little tongue-'n cheek~!
