Night hair is mantled by the stars in silver
Despite the fullest one not to appear
Heart of longing aroused even stronger
O my beloved one - not to fear!
Someone is thinking of you here
The STAR comes or not, does it matter?
Cizeng you're such a poetess! Nature and love, you can always connect these two together so naturally in just several lines!
I want to place my order for two dozen mooncakes (don't forget the jujube paste!) . I'm bringing three other poet friends to the Global Harmony (outdoor) Labyrinth overlooking Lake Como in St. Paul. We'll each recite a Poem to the Moon and then drink Plum Wine and eat mooncakes. We'll walk the labyrinth too. And the moon will send its light to shine on you in China and us in America. (I think I'll increase the order to three dozen mooncakes - and bring five poet friends! !)
Hi Cigeng, I understand that the Moon Festival is a wonderful theme And Full Moon signifies family reunion. Beautiful concept. And a very nice poem longing for Re-Union: O my beloved one - not to fear! Someone is thinking of you here The STAR comes or not, does it matter? Loved reading it, Cigeng. congrats.10
