At Home Abound.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

At Home Abound....

Rating: 5.0

Close by Dichteren's neighborhood
wandering lonely as in some famous verses
watching the deep blue sea
some seagulls approaching me

leaving the memories behind
I have tried to find
froth coming from the abyss
my Lord, is this all there is?

memories fade away, no present nor the past
yesterday was today's love no more
this life's journey sweetness has gone yore
tried picking the past the loveliest as it was

reaching the brim of yesterday's heart
grasping the love once my part
it looked as if night had fallen
all darkest, darker than in Sankt Gallen

all I met was only the twister
no brother around even no sister
there came the blister around
delivered my memories and you abound

remember love, some times ago on Dichteren's ground?
the kindest people, pure love inside, no blister around.
No Sankt Gallen, baby, just peaceful Doetinchem
gracious praiseful people all around
give way for God's Love and Bliss
from deepest within, gratefully yours and all there is
God's Bliss is, is at home abound
Doetinchem is our at home abound

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Coming....I said. Now has the time come to add the notes for this @Home Abound poem. PH had error when submitting my one last poem. I do hope this can be submitted and published. So far this news, thank you, Sylvia FC Earliest Sunday Morn, AD the 28th January 2018 @ 5.28 hrs A.M. West-European Time. YESS! PoemHunter has published this on that Sunday, so glad and happy at the same time. I declare Doetinchem, my hometown as the coziest town where the inhabitants are grateful to God and they praise the Lord in the church. That's my At Home Abound! I experienced sweetness, love and calmness all around. It is called a city, but this place associates me straightly with a town, a grand village, because I was born in a supermegacity Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia and then we moved to this clear cute cozy country and we have been living here like for ages. People say when you feel at once at home in your new environment, then that feels like you have been living at that place for ages....I am a content human being and I know my duties: God and at home....God means abound and at home there's abound, IF I may say so....

froth coming from the abyss my Lord, is this all there is? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -This is painting a mood, an atmosphere, for a poem! ! ! ! Absolutely top-notch writing. Word choice excels, and there is a dark kind of rhythm to this piece, a melancholy underlining the verses. I am captivated.10++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

You never cease to joy my heart dear friend with your brilliant pen! When memories fade away and we have no present nor past, we may be able to gasp what all there is means. Indeed, love and bliss, people and things alike we are all brothers and sisters.
