At The Grave Of A Loved One Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

At The Grave Of A Loved One

Rating: 5.0

At the grave of a loved one
our soul feels orphaned.

There was still so much to say.
But his ears are not listening anymore.
His eyes do not see the beautiful flowers
and the gravestone to his memory.

It seems like our love
grasps the void, and that hurts us.

But after some time it will be
as if the deceased
wants to direct our blick to people
who are still with us.

As if he wanted to tell us
"let the love you wanted to give me
be given to all who are near you.
let your love go to the poor
unwanted and rejected".

lovely poem- let the love you wanted to give me be given to all who are near you. // O' Love You're far away Another state of soul Let me be your all day Let me be your all goal Let me be your memory Let me be your heavenly tree No ivory, no dreary Myself I cannot make free Without you in this step of heavenly dew
