The gust of wind sweeps
The crispy misty morning
So cool and sweet
And the birds start to tweet
The leaves rustle and bustle
Far away the golden sun shines
The ripe tree leaves
begin to fall,
to cover the streets
Nature spreads the carpet
of orange, brown, yellow and red
And as you walk down the aisle
Hearts glow and the sun kisses your smile
The autumn leaves make themselves known
It is their musky perfume
That whispers to the chirping birds,
"It will rain before the dusk, and that is my word."
The leaves rustle and bustle Far away the golden sun shines The ripe tree leaves begin to fall, to cover the streets Nature spreads the carpet of orange, brown, yellow and red Musky perfume and the whispers. very poetic dear Rini. tony
Very pleasant autumnal poem Rini...it delights the senses!
Hi Rini, Very lively write. Loved this one: The autumn leaves make themselves known It is their musky perfume That whispers to the chirping birds, It will rain before the dusk, and that is my word. My heart goes to to the marvellous series of imagery.
A fantastic expression has been made on autumn. So nice to read. Wonderful imagery. Amusing and interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Autumn Leaves............... in so many poems created, so many words consecrated but IF I may tell you, dear Rini no autumn is such endearing as your brevity due to your constant loveliest smile on your face I repeat to you, this is no race.......................Thank you so much for sharing this beauty.
